The German Bundestag’s International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) offers politically and socially engaged young university graduates from Canada and other participating countries the opportunity to spend five months in Berlin and gain firsthand insight into Germany’s parliamentary system.
Participants take part in educational programming, university courses, and a three-month placement in the office of a Member of the Bundestag, where they experience the daily work of German democracy up close. This program is a valuable opportunity for young people with strong German language skills and an interest in politics, society, and international exchange
