Special Volunteer Award & Youth Award

Proud winners of the Special Volunteer Award

Every year SGC recognizes volunteers that have been generous with their time, effort, and talents to promote German culture in the province. Volunteers – the heart of our community!

The SGC Special Volunteer Awards have been presented to outstanding volunteers in Saskatchewan’s German-Canadian community since 2000. The Council’s member organizations can submit an application for a special volunteer from their organization.

The SGC Special Volunteer Awards are handed out at the Special Volunteer Awards Banquet during the annual Treffpunkt weekend in June.
