Kronau Cemetery Site

Kronau Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery is one of the district’s oldest burial grounds and is closely tied to the area’s early German-Russian Lutheran settlers, who began arriving around 1890. Before they had a church, the community held services in homes and later in the first local schoolhouse. The cemetery was established beside that school on donated land, with the first burial recorded in 1896. Today it stands as an important reminder of the pioneers who shaped the Kronau area.
