Mandate

To support, sponsor and develop German Heritage.

Mission

To collect, share and preserve the history and heritage of the Germanic people.

Activities

The Saskatoon German Heritage Society is a group that collects books and literature of German culture and history. Their book collection covers a diverse range of historical topics, such as the 1700s German migration to Russia, German settlement in Saskatchewan, and individual family stories. As Saskatchewan has profound connections to past German settlements and lots of residents today can trace their roots back to Germanic origins, the Society would like to preserve the German heritage that was once active. Through providing open access for all to learn about the historical stories, the Society hopes to share the history and the culture with many people. Please support the society at German heritage activities when they may arise.
